Funds will benefit Girls Club Photography Programs! This spring the Lower Eastside Girls Club photography students used disposable Kodak cameras to complete weekly assignments for The Girl Project. Each week girls were challenged to use just 27 frames to share their point of view on a particular subject, always relating to their community and female adolescence. Applying the same principals as the national photography documentary by artist Kate Engelbrecht, girls used photography as a way to communicate their ideas, experiences and self-perceptions.
