Archie Gottesman, Edison Properties / Manhattan Mini Storage, is the mother of three girls and the Executive Vice President of her family business, which is an investor in the Girls Club’s entrepreneurial training programs.
Jana Napoli, Founder, and Baty Landis, Executive Director, Young Aspirations / Young Artists. The YAYAs are celebrating their 20th Anniversary providing arts and career programming to the youth of New Orleans.
Rosemonde Pierre-Louis, Manhattan Deputy Borough President, is leading NYC’s “Go Green” initiatives, working in low-income communities to raise environmental awareness and provide opportunities for sustainable community development.
Inspiration Award: Frances Goldin, for over 60 years of community activism and social justice work on behalf of the people of the Lower East Side. Frances is the founder of The Frances Goldin Literary Agency.
Boyfriend of the Year: Bob Holman is the “King of poetry, Dean of the scene, Ringmaster of the spoken word” and founder of the Bowery Poetry Club, the coolest bar / performance space / think tank on earth!
